Country Roads..........Take me home

Yesterday I had to go into town and get my licence renewed before it expired. So I travelled the 15kms to the nearest Service Ontario office. I walked in around 1620 hrs and was the only customer. I walked up to the counter and was served right away, I can honestly say that during my 15 years in Stittsville this NEVER happened, not even close!!!!! As I was driving back home I was listening to my favourite country music station from Ottawa. A traffic report came on saying how backed up the 417 was and how there were accidents on several different roads. Well, I had to stop and take a picture of my traffic conditions for my drive home. My greatest risk of a collision was from a rogue cow darting out in front of my F150! Gotta say this Lake living is agreeing with me! Quick house update, drywall was delivered today and gets installed tomorrow. Just met the new neighbours, I'm not sure about them!

Allen just sent us some pics of the progress of the house moving into Sep. He also introduced us to our new neighbours. They look like a real outdoor family! With another new month comes more progress. Soon all the outside work will be done and Sam and his crew will focus on the inside. My new 3  car garage is going to be amazing!!!!

Waiting is the hardest part....

Ok  - we are anxious to get into our new home but we have it pretty darn good living at the lake. The Labour Day weekend was awesome, we had Josh and Coco join us (would have been even better if Waylon could have come). Had a great time out on the Sea Doo with Josh and we took some time to try our luck at fishing!
